She also applied for the position when Antwan Wilson got the job. I think she wanted it and I wish she had gotten it.

She wanted it.

Ok, then do we think she’ll leave?

That article mentions Wanda Legrand. She was in DCPS at some point as a Wilson hire. Is she still around?

Real deal for what? Just ask the teachers of Bunker Hill and Ross ES how she governed, got rid of the good teachers and promoted the weakest teachers to administrative roles. She is known for attending charter school activities.

I'm a charter school person. I attend some DCPS activities and support a couple of fundraisers. Why is Alexander's attendance at charter school activities a problem?

Sister, skin color is more important than gender.

No worries. This is probably the last black chancellor and last black mayor.

Grosso is already hinting that this isn't a done deal. Hearing will be in January. Mandy better hang tight.

Ferebee is essentially Antwan 2.0. Who was basically the Anti-Kaya. Coincidence?
+young black man (EMOC and such), won't draw attention from Muriel
+outsider, no personal connections or influence with local deep pockets
+mayoral control novice, won't question crazy governance model
+charter friendly, but this ain't Indy. Charter sector more independent and powerful
+parent of a high school student. Said his kid will go to neighborhood school or (DCPS) lottery. Sorry Walls and Ellington

In summary, young, black and unaccomplished.

Yess, mission accomplished.

What is wrong with you people? So you're essentially saying you want all city leadership to be white for here on out? Why don't you get packing early for that move to VA.

I wouldn’t say he is unaccomplished. At least from the Indiana newspaper articles I read, he got more funding in place for the schools.
