At what net worth did you feel rich?

Apparently I have very low standards. But I marvel over my luck wrt to money every day.

I hear you. I distinctly remember having to watch every penny at the grocery store and not being able to buy extra items.

I know the feeling. My wife has never been into expensive bags, but earlier this year she did pickup her first LV. She generally has only one purse, and usually something in the 100-300 range, and lasts for 1-2 years. I do admit that the LV looks really nice, and the build quality is definitely a few steps higher than the bag she usually gets. So my feeling on the matter is that as long as you are not over spending, one or ten nice things here or there is okay.

Yeah, we just realized this recently. Got home from the grocery store, and while he was pulling stuff out, he stopped and stared at me for second "um babe, this small sausage was 8 dollars..." and I was like "Oh, really, I didn't notice. You told me to grab it so I did.", and we both stopped for a second while realizing how absurd this must have looked to our young college selves. I didn't even look at the total when I checked out. My objective was to get all the stuff on the list and get out. It's just some introspective.
