| Um, no. I don't even make my own husband lunch or warm food up for him and I love the guy. |
| The consensus is there’s something going on between the two of them. Sorry OP. Please don’t blame yourself this is his flaw and his loss. It’s hard now but I promise you will look back and be grateful you found out before marriage. It sounds like you have things going on for you and you deserve better than a cheater. |

The key question is if there was an ask.
If I was leaving my cube and my friend asked me to grab his lunch and nuke it if I was headed that direction? Sure, normal. Spontaneously deciding he was ready for lunch and preparing it from him absent any type of direct request? 100% shady. Hitting up potbelly and getting an extra cookie because I know a coworker likes it? Questionable. Picking up potbelly for a cowowker that put in an order before I left? Perfectly normal. |
I have made baked goods under weak pretenses to bring into the office because I enjoy baking. And I know other people who are like that. So I wouldn't read too much into that one if there was no other weird behavior. But I literally cannot imagine making someone a lunch in a tupperware and bringing it from my home. That is bizarre. |

Even my best work friend, it would be non-existent to never happening.
The ONLY possibility is if she knew I was having a non-stop crazy day. It’s 2pm and she had noticed that I have been non-stop typing away or in meetings. And MAYBE she’d be like, “did you eat today?” And id day, “no time. I have a soup/frozen meal that I should eat but I’m stuck at my desk.” And MAYBE she’d be like “I’m not busy. I’ll heat it for you and bring it by. Maybe you’ll have two minutes to inhale it!” So that’s a maybe, and it’s my close friend. |
I’m 33f and my awesome favorite Indian coworker has done that for me. But that’s Female to Female friends, one being like a little mom to me, and mostly while I was pregnant. And bringing my favorite foods from her cuisine that I have no experience cooking. |
