Loved it but the music was uneven. the best are songs are so good and light years better than most of the show. My Shot is an addictive song and the best one by far. But probably half the show is fairly average songs. Probably should have cut about 10 songs and just used regular dialogue to move the story. The overall show is great and the staging and choreography are fantastic. Def helps to read and listen to lyrics before the show though so you don't miss any critical information.

Also want to add that the final number is a little too muted and underwhelming. There should have been a reprise of My Shot. It just pretty bland finale.

Normally I would agree with you but once I saw it on stage I liked it the way it ended. Part of it is that you get to see how very productive Eliza was and all the things she got done in the time she had after Alexander died - which makes up for the fact that the women have little agency in driving the revolution and the state-building along due to the inequality of the times.

Not PP, but there’s a book called I, Eliza—historical fiction from her perspective. I haven’t read it but a friend did and liked it.

Just saw the angelica cast in Pittsburgh. We had the understudy for Hamilton and I thought it was great! (edred utomi).
