+3. This. I got married to my college girlfriend while in law school. She was a 7 at the time, though she let herself go and didn’t work out enough. My Dad took care of tuition based on my parents’ divorce settlement, but it was good to have her around and working so that I ate better than Ramen. It’s so hard to stay in shape in law school unless you’ve got someone cooking healthy meals for her.
I filed for divorce so that my partner income wouldn’t be on the hook. My Dad floated me a loan to buy into the partnership which was a huge help.
At that point, I was 31 and starting over. I hired a nutritionist, a personal trainer, a style consultant, and invested in manscaping services. I wanted to be sure I could get at least a 9, and wasn’t going to settle for less.
About 18 months later I had finished up a case and had some time off coming. I headed to Vegas for a college buddy’s bachelor party, and tacked on some vacation time on each end. My buddy and I got bottle service at XS on a Wednesday night, and I tipped my host very well and told her I wanted Spearmint Rhino-level women. Well, she came back with four ACTUAL dancers from Spearmint Rhino! Score
