I wonder how her friend Bill Maher will respond? He gently went after her when the show was rebooted, but it's clear they are old friends and he's a bit indebted to her. Very curious to see if he calls her out, or if he gives her a platform for a mea culpa like he did for Kathie Griffin (recognizing that Barr's hateful comments are far worse than Griffin's political commentary).

Pardon, did the POTUS put pressure on ABC to fire Roseanne?

The first amendment does not bind private employers, either ABC or the NFL. But it does prevent the State from restricting speech. In the case of the NFL the head of the State was applying public pressure to a private entity to ban certain speech by some employees.

That may or may not concern you.

It does concern me. I was just heading off the inevitable complaints about Rosenanne's free speech.
