| All of this complaining and grief but no one bothers to say which clubs. Can't take you seriously if you can't name the club. |
LOL ok. don't take anyone seriously

BSC? |

Family convenience. Spread too thin now.
They can practice at same field, over-lapping practice times/same day next year. Priceless. |

Two of the categories on my U10's evaluation were:
physical strength and heading. Heading (weak). I had tears coming out of my eyes. They aren't allowed to head at U10 and the time my kid did the other team got a free kick. Physical strength. His teammate's dad joked that his 9-year old son wanted to put protein powder in his milk after the eval. This was at one of the big Clubs with DA, mind you. We pay thousands of dollars for this crap. |
I would bet it's McLean U12 boys for sure... |
WOW. Please please 'out' this club. That is beyond pathetic. I think I would actually ask for my money back. |
You must be first place in the top division at NCSL now? Those teams are generally better than CCL and VPL. or are you talking about ECNL/DA? |
Moreno? Walla? |
very true! you really can't paint a broad brush to avoid this club or that club - they all have good and bad. And parents... my goodness.... good and bad in all the sports at all the clubs. |
No, my DD is still U11 so we shall see what happens in a couple of years. This just out thinking right now. |
sounds like mys U12 girls age group this past year |

For what it’s worth, my kid was on Stoddert B & C teams are the parents were mostly wonderful. I loved spending time with those people, it was honestly one of the highlights of my kids’ childhood in terms of activities.
The A team? No thanks!!! Lots of awfulness & stress there. And frankly most of those kids are either not playing soccer anymore or they are going to play at colleges that you would never want your kid to go to (one ECNL player we know of is going to go play for ‘Fort Lewis College’ - WTF?? It has a 30% graduation rate). Most of the B team kids and the ones not playing soccer anymore are going to pretty incredible colleges. If you want to hold onto your kids’ childhood maybe nix the high level sports & just take it down a notch. |
You must have never met Sona Walla as he is an incredible person and an amazing coach. Why just throw names out that you pick off a website? |
