I sincerely hope that those making the award are not stupid enough. Even if he had some hand in it-something I don't agree with as a statement- his other deeds/actions/inactions FAR outweigh his negligible involvement in bringing this about. Indeed, I think you can argue that the time was ripe and it would have happened w/o out for a number of reasons.

If anyone should get Nobel peace prize for "true" peace in the Korean Peninsula it should be Moon. He is doing the heavy lifting diplomacy to manage big egos of trump and Jong Un .

He is downplaying his own role and propping the narcissists so that they do not do anything stupid to start a war. By playing to their fragile ego, if he can convince them to contain the bickering and avert disaster he would be worthy of the Nobel.
