Nobel Peace Prize - Korea?

I agree. Trump certainly has his faults, but the man deserves the credit here. Without his blunt, no-nonsense ultimatum, this meeting between the Koreas would never have happened. Ever.

Nice speculation.

Again, tweet from Christiane Amanpour:

South Korea’s Foreign Minister tells me in Seoul that “clearly credit goes to President Trump” for bringing North Korea to the negotiating table. “He’s been determined to come to grips with this from day one,” Kang Kyung-wha says.

And,

South Korea credits Trump for talks with North @CNNI https://cnn.it/2r58XMe

https://twitter.com/camanpour/status/989423486438379520

I know it’s hard for some liberals (not all - just the ones who are filled with hate). How does one react to a possible peace between the North and the South? Do you rejoice because the possibility of a nuclear attack from the North has dramatically lessened even though Trump is being credited with this good news? Or, are you secretly angry that this has occurred because of your hate for Trump? Or, do you pick door number 3 and rejoice, but not credit Trump at all, even though South Korea is crediting him? Quite a quandary.

Well said. The Resist movement would rather have the US fail than have Trump get credit for anything.

But trump would be horrible at foreign policy! He doesn’t listen to the council on foreign relation type experts who have done such a bang up job over the last 30 years!!! Please let’s put Madeline Albright back in charge!

You can roll your eyes until they fall out of your head, but that won't make it any less true.

LOL -- yes, let's trot out the old prune Albright. Maybe she can reduce some of her commitments to come back from retirement and chastise us for something.

What an old bag!

Absolute B.S.

Nope total opposite of BS.

Trump, on the other hand, actually did someth8ng concrete to deserve the NPP. This week’s meeting between the Korean leaders is historic and is a giant-sized step toward peace. The South Korean leader stated that the meeting would not have occurred without pressure from Trump. We should take Trump’s lead and be cautiously optimistic to ensure that we don’t get played by Kim. Do you think Trump will be considered for the NPP?

But what did Trump actually do to facilitate this meeting or participate in this meeting? Wasn't he at home giving an extremely incoherent interview on at Fox & Friends

+1
It's such a kerfuffle for liberals, isn't it? They just can't bring themselves to give credit where credit's due, even when it's clearly been spelled out for them that South Korea attributes this historic meeting to Trump.

I can give him credit for it, if it happens. But it doesn’t erase that he is a traitor and worked with Russia to steal the election. It doesn’t erase his horrific destruction of the environment. It doesn’t erase the bigotry he has further institutionalized. He may have brought the Koreas together but he hasn’t made America great! In fact he has taken a big dump on it.

You have totally bought into the left-wing media narratives.....
1. He did not work with Russia. In fact, there is MORE evidence of the Clinton campaign working with Russia than the Trump campaign.
2. He has done NOTHING to destroy our environment. The regulations he has rolled back were a total overreach of the previous administration.
3. Bigotry he has institutionalized? You are joking. This comment simply makes you sound partisan and angry.

Data shows that hate crimes rose day after Trump elected.

Sexism, racism, homophobia are all shunned. Why are ageism and blatantly ageist comments acceptable?

Sadly, you can trot out all the facts and statistics you want but Conservatives live in another Fox News world built upon lies. Every point PP countered are ones that Fox News gave him. Facts in America are lost upon the Republican Party.
