Is everyone avoiding Mexico?

I was just in Mexico City and it was great. I'm not a big fan of touristy resort towns, including Acapulco and Cancun, so I wouldn't go there in the first place, but the resort town is where the foreigners get tainted booze.

I live in Mexico and am a shocked by the ignorance. Especially from a country where kids practice drills in case a shooter enters the school.

Well hard to avoid sending your kid to school. It’s easy to avoid traveling to Mexico on vacation.

Unless you don't see the logic in avoiding a beautiful country which has a similar level of gun violence as the US in its popular tourist areas.
