Agree but 90 percent of 50 yo men are definitely not hot either !

Agree also but 90% of men and 98% of women aren't hot at that age. That 8% is a huge gap.

Not to mention, that man is going to attract women in their 30's and 40's. That woman, not so much.

You know, some 50 year old women do attract men in their 40s, even if people find that surprising.

There’s not just one of them. You sound insecure. Are you the woman next to me doing 5 pound curls?

whenever someone says this, I always imagine that he would do well married to a crack whore: she will always be thin, always willing to have sex, and she won't be stressed about that stupid stuff other women worry about like a job, raising children, and running a house.

You are a genius. This gave me such a laugh. Thank you for injecting some humor into this misogynistic thread.

Signed a hot younger woman who is with a hot man my own age and not interested in playing a nursemaid to some older guy’s ego. I don’t care how high his HHI is.

Does your husband know that you feel this way about him...that you think he is hot? I am thinking this would be any man's dream...to know that they have a wife that feels the way you do! Your husband probably feels the same way about you! Keep doing what you are doing to keep your marriage strong!

+1M, I totally wish it was that simple.

However, there are DWs who just don't care about either due to worklife balance. In other words, dealing with kids and work demand robs them of energy/willingness to maintain fit and of course emotinally available for sex.

-Signed hot DH looking to upgrade.

Ok, but you suck due to dumping all the responsibilities on your wife and then looking to trade her in. That’s not hot.

Who said he's dumping it all on her? Lots of DWs are just unable/unwilling to even consider "balance" - any 1 thing you take off her plate, she will take on 10 more things. Yet somehow, these exact same women find a way to lose the extra 25 pounds and start enjoying sex (at least appearing to) once they are divorced and want to attract a new man. Apparently, the only way to motivate her into caring about being "hot" is to divorce her. Just wondering why is that?

Because as a working woman being divorced is much easier and less stressful than marriage.

1. You have the kids a few days, so that's easy.
2. We no longer have a 3rd of 4th child (you)

These things make it so easy to stay in shape and have time for ourselves. We also no longer have to suffer the monotony of having sex with a one trick pony. Variety is a great motivator.

I don't think so, but you can always check out your local soup kitchen

Or your local ER waiting room.

If you act lovingly toward your man, the Patriarchy wins.

No. I have a movie star hot husband. He feels somewhat objectified and is embarrassed if I comment on his looks. We've been married a decade. He definitely knows I think he's hot though. He'd prefer I comment on the things he does.
