She's a nut job. He's clean. No comparison to Kavanaugh. It's so obvious I'm surprised you are all totally unable to see this.

What does she have to gain by making this up? Why would she open herself up to the crap storm for no reason? The only reason she would do this if if he was guilty. I 100% believe her.

Likely a mental problem. Or a cry out for attention from someone who shunned her. Lot's a reasons she could have made this up.

I don’t believe anyone would make this up. Something happened, just look at the guy, you know he did it. More victims will be popping up, just wait.

Do you call every woman who is assulted mentally ill? You are disgusting.

Okay then let’s see if more women come forward. I have a feeling they won’t. They dig deep and one of the worst things they could find was him looking at a tattoo.

I personally do think the woman claiming rape is making it up. Why? Because I don’t believe magic crystals tell the future (or past). I’d go as far as to say, claiming your magic crystals said he raped you is making it up.

Try again. It's not just one woman. It's three. https://www.patheos.com/blogs/nosacredcows/2018/11/two-more-women-accuse-neil-degrasse-tyson-of-sexual-misconduct/

Right. Because you like NGT's politics/style, and didn't like Kavanaugh's. That's the ONLY thing this comes down to. Believe women...but only if they're making claims against someone I don't like.

And meanwhile we engage in such constant stupidity, China is playing us all.

Exactly.

Innocent people don't protest. Never do what Kav did.

Just apologize. Succinctly.

I knew 1000 NGTs in college and law school. He did it. You know he did it (prior PP).

because i know many, many women with stories like hers, and just as many men with a grab-ass excuse to justify what they did.

Do you really think that some random person would be willing to subject herself to so much scrutiny and let’s face it, vitriol for the sake of...what exactly? This isn’t some young woman with mental issues trying to get attention from a journalist, this is a woman in her 50s with a normal life who has just turned it upside down.

Because a massive increase in people going to her YouTube channel could be an incentive. He's innocent. Space studying guys don't do this type of thing.

There are not three. One crazy person says he raped her because her magic crystals said so. The other two are by no means allegations of sexual assault. They’re no more than “he made me uncomfortable”. This has already been explained here.

If one’s defense is, i clumsily indicated that if I hug you, I might want more, then the outlook is, uh, not good. Resign, alleged harasser, Native American handshaker of wined and cheesed woman.

If a woman accepts an offer for one-on-one cheese, wine, and relaxation then has second thoughts about the situation halfway through it then fine, she can leave. Guess what? She did leave. She called him a “sexual predator” yet he did not stop her from leaving nor did he touch her or force himself on her. All he did is shook her hand. So he touched her wrist in the handshake and that made her uncomfortable. He didn’t grab her by the ***** like Trump or anything else. She wanted to leave and he gave her a handshake and a hearty farewell. This is not the act of a predator nor is it a crime. If men and women can’t even shake hands then I guess we need to segregate the genders. Her feeling uncomfortable is not enough to justify anything. Tough crap.

Sure, went ahead and looked up a study on harassment by field. Take a look at Figure 7:
