When did you start having Christmas in your own home?

| We spend Christmas Eve and morning at our house. Our twins came home from NICU on Christmas Eve so we mark that day day as our little family’s Family Day. We meet my entire extended IL family (all local) at church and go back to my wife’s parents after church. |

| My DH was complaining about “having to” travel to his family’s house for Christmas every year (my family is Jewish, so we always spend Christmas with my ILs), and I’m so close to telling him just not to buy a ticket next year! If he doesn’t want to go, we shouldn’t. |
