Haha! Really?

What were the circumstances under which you met?

I skipped my next class to watch until the end of the match which he won. Afterwards I went up to him and introduced myself and told him how amazed I was at how well he played and then I stupidly added....for a guy with a disability. I immediately flubbed an apology and he just laughed it off and said all is forgiven if you buy me a beer. So I did and we're still together after 35 years and I'm still amazed at what he does. He was also very good looking which helped!

Did his severe disability ever concern you in terms of having children? Was it ever an issue for you? I was an immature jerk many years ago with a great guy who had a disability.

That he was very cute, funny and that he made me feel like the only person in the room when we spoke. It took awhile before we had our first date but I sensed that this guy was very special.

That he had the kindest eyes I'd ever seen. I knew he was a total sweetheart and he looked somehow "familiar" to me. When he smiled, his eyes crinkled and shone.

our first date was two years later. I fell in love with him that night...instant attraction and like we'd known each other forever. I still tell him that I wish we'd met sooner/earlier in life...I had so much heartbreak, drama and messy past relationships.

I wasn't concerned about having children once his mother told me that his birth defect wasn't genetic. I'd like to think it was never an issue but I'm sure I did think about it but it was so long ago. But it was quickly clear to me that the way he played tennis was the way he was - nothing was impossible to him.

Met in a professional setting. I was Separated from a cheating spouse. Hadn't had sex in a long while (stopped sleeping with husband when cheating was discovered). I never said that to him of course and it was several years before I actually slept with him (needed to get divorced and get myself together before embarking on something new). He was available, I was ready and years later we are still together.

(Was not his girlfriend or anything, don't worry)

So how did you get his attention?

Met DW at work. Jaw dropped when I saw her for the first time and took in her beauty.

He's hot but he looks like trouble. I was right!

He had a staring problem. I would get sooooo angry and now, I could stare at him all day.
