| 'Shit.' I had a bf of 2+ years and the second, I mean the split second I saw him, I knew he was the one. We were married 11 months later and seven years later have 3 kids and are still head over heels. I will remember that moment on my deathbed - and I thought all that stuff was nuts. It can strike anyone at any time! |
Can you go into that in more detail? That's the way I felt with my ex but we are no longer together (((
|
| I thought he looked like a thin-ish Ringo Starr circa 1968. I'm a Paul gal, so it took me awhile to warm up to him. |
Forgot to add that when he smiled, I swooned. I mean I was unsteady on my feet. His smile still has the effect that I completely lose my place in whatever I'm saying and get fluttery. |
| He made me laugh and had kind eyes. 18 years later...still madly in love! |
His eyes are dark blue like the ocean and combined with the smile--I'm putty in his hands. I never have told him how he weakens my knees--but he probably knows. |
| My first thought was that he was super hot. After talking that night I thought it would be a great short fling. Little did I know that I'd marry him! 4 years and 1 kid later, very happy still. |
|
I thought he seemed like a nice guy, and I could tell that he was interested in me immediately, but I didn't feel an attraction. For some reason, when he asked me out a couple of days later, I agreed to go on the date anyway. We still did not hit it off and agreed to part ways.
About 6 months later, we started to spend some time together with mutual friends, and the rest is history. I'm so grateful that I got a second chance! |

Thank you for sharing your stories.

| My first thought was that he's way better than my husband. |
|
I knew about him before I met him in person - we had a mutual friend who told me he lived in the city I was moving to, and I promptly Facebook stalked him. He looked cute and interesting.
The night we met my friend brought him over for a nightcap. He shook my hand gently, and smiled broadly, and his hand was warm. I was struck immediately. |
| Same as my thoughts these many years later. Damn she is cute and really has a nice round ass. |
| I first saw him on a tennis court in college. He had a really severe leg disability and it was incredible to watch him play. My first thought was who is this guy? I skipped my next class to watch until the end of the match which he won. Afterwards I went up to him and introduced myself and told him how amazed I was at how well he played and then I stupidly added....for a guy with a disability. I immediately flubbed an apology and he just laughed it off and said all is forgiven if you buy me a beer. So I did and we're still together after 35 years and I'm still amazed at what he does. He was also very good looking which helped! |
| I was immediately attracted to him. I always had a thing for dorky cute guys- but had never dated one. When I met him I was like, this is it! This is what I always say I want to date and never do! We got to talking in the bar and he was so funny and cute, but incredibly awkward around women. I made a LOT of the first moves. |
| I thought- I will sleep with him but no way am I getting involved with him. Together 30 years, married for 25. |
