Yes. Right place, right time. Casting agents were searching for a Hermione among London's top private schools. When they came to her school for an audition, they saw her, liked her and she got the part.

I'm not the PP, but Emma Watson never had to move to Hollywood or whore herself out. And neither do lots of actors (in part due to nepotism in the industry).

I actually thought she was fine as Meg. A bit less bossy than Meg from the book, but fine - as good as any of them. I'm the outlier that really doesn't like the Greta Gerwig version of Little Women.

What? This reads like her life is over and she's a bitter spinster. She just had a hit movie in Little Women. She's 30, not 50. Pretty sure a good portion of the women on this board were childless feminists at 30... I sure was!
