PK4. We'd love to stop paying for school. Any chance in hell? I'm thinking not.

You will get a great lottery master number, perhaps the universe congratulating you for putting together a good master list. It'll put you at Powell, because that's your 4th choice, which now you are reevaulating if that's your true preference against the rest of your list. You will have <10 numbers at your top 3, and end up at CMI, pulling your two seater red wagon up the hill with your 15 month in tow. Your fellow Petworth parents will be a little grumpy you got so lucky.

Swami, you're blowing my mind. I'll confess that this was my list last year and I was just testing your powers. You are pretty much dead-on. Powell match, top 10 on our others, matched with CMI within 2 months of results, and we're really happy there.

Our wagon only has one occupant at present--but perhaps you have other powers and can see that it'll soon have another rider? News to me, but I will take your word as TRUTH and skip the second drink tonight.

Peace out, Swami--you've made my day.

You have a good shot for Hyde. Many families are jumping AHIP because of the swing plans, which I personally think is pretty silly. But great news for motivated OOB families.

You will get into ITS on lottery day. Your 3rd grader will pull in your K. You will wonder if you should have ranked CMI above ITS for weeks. Your H-A number for the 3rd grader will be in the teens but will rally down along with the K. You will wonder if you are going to have to seperate them, and spend all of August making a hard decision between ITS and the H-A future commute.

Congrats! You almost won the lottery. You are offered a BASIS slot, and now are deciding where on the D6, 30s bus lines you want to live. Welcome to DC!

Also entered Lamb again this year.
We can stay where we are for K if nothing works out again this year.

You will have numbers <15 at each of these on the first pull and reorganize your list all summer. You will ultimately end up at ITS because you aren't 100% sold on immersion/DCI.

Swami thinks the universe will slay you for looking a gift horse in the mouth with Key. You will get a good number and then determine all other commutes untenable ones you are offered a space at Murch first, and CMI next. You will chair a PTO committee.

Swami thinks you never had to pay for school in the first place. You will be offered a space in H-A. You will refuse to let your child take the bus, and spend the whole year cursing the commute but being grateful for the Waze app.

Oh Swami, from your lips to God's ears! I am a little nervous about the rigor of Basis for my very bright but ADHD daughter, but I really feel like she has the chance to succeed with love and support from her mommy, a special ed teacher who loves her very very much.

Why is J.O. Wilson on this list? That commute would be crazy.
