No - it's not that simple, and it doesn't fit his vision for the world.

He's in favor of eliminating borders; in the case of the EU, the internal borders are largely gone. He also seeks greater federalization of the EU, and eventual concentration of governmental power in Brussells under an efficient EU government. To accomish that goal, he sees the eventual elimination of national European governments.

He has similar plans for the North American continent (to include Central America) - eventually eliminating the U.S. Borders with Mexico and Canada, and going far beyond NAFTA as far as an integrated economy and trade.

Eventually, he seeks global income re-distribution to lift the 3rd world from poverty and create parity between every continent. To efficiently effect this vision, he sees an eventual one-world government without national interests to impede his vision of progress.

Main question is who is going to pay for this and who will be "distributing" resources . There is definitely a movement anyone with half a brain can see.. it has to do with reducing QOL of regular people in affluent countries and promoting austerity and reduction of your "life footprint" - carbon footprint, consumption of non essential goods, foods you eat (animal food sources), travel, keeping your homes comfortable, etc. As always we hear how peasants who are better off should share with poor peasants and strive to sacrifice, but we never hear how our "lords" are sharing... Funny to hear this come out from the jet and yacht crowd

Your paranoia is on full display. Wealthy elites really truly are screwing the average person very hard. But your mistake is clear when you mistake quality of life for higher levels of consumption. Quality of life is determined by many factors and “buying more stuff” is pretty low on that list. Democrats are a broad coalition of diverse groups, some of which are not exactly saints. That still does not mean that conspiracy theories are worth your time or that Republicans are somehow the saviors of the common man.

Did I say anything about Democrats or Republicans? Your mind is clouded by partisan politics. You clearly misunderstood what is meant by QOL and you are implicitly toiling the austerity line (happiness isn't about money or material conveniences, blah blah). People already have different lifestyles based on what matters to them and what they can afford. If you want to reduce your carbon footprint you can, if you want to be vegan, who is stopping you? I am talking about propaganda, and with propaganda there is always someone riding behind it to profit from whatever is pushed upon the masses.

I read his book and did'nt undertand a word of it. Apparently he's an "intellectual" of some kind?
His investment partner Jim Rodgers makes a whole lot of more sense to me.
I just don't understand where he's coming from or why? I s he ashamed of making all that money?

For whom?

It would benefit lower income groups. Writ large, that is what the refugee debate is about. Allowing people from poor countries to move to wealthier ones to help reduce global inequality. Will it work? Probably.

It will not work. Reducing population growth in poor countries will help bring inequality down. Wealthier nations should be pushing birth control in poor countries.
