$140/month phone bill? What a waste of money. Get a $35/month plan with Cricket.

LOL, $25 per month? Would you like a cookie?

I think you are doing well, but figure out where the rest of your money is going. It's so easy to spend a lot of money on small everyday purchases that you don't actually need.

Note when you move cell phone plans go to sprint rather than T-Mobile. We just switched and the coverage is a ton better and they have similar pricing.

Put something into a retirement fund now. 401k or IRA, not just your bank account. In 10 years you will be so happy you did.

Op, so is this your second job in 8 months after graduating? You said you've been saving for 8 months but you also said you took a pay cut from 105k to 95k.

Overall you're doing well. Keep up the good work. See if you can get a raise or a new job that will pay more. Def switch to a cheaper cell phone plan. Get t-mobile unlimited, cut internet altogether, and use hotspot from your cell phone to stream Netflix. Quality wont be 1080p, but something between VHS and DVD, but that'll save you $170/mo right there.

Also, do you have car expenses? Like insurance, car payments, maintenance? I saw you are paying for gas, so you must be paying something for insurance, right?

My parents pay my car insurance still.
Gonna look into changing the phone plan this month.
Thanks for the advice everyone.
