Men, why do you like blonde women more?

Anonymous
Hillary is a blonde but not considered hot. Sarah palin is a brunette but is hot. Not all blondes are equal. Some look better with darker hair and vice versa

I know a lot of guys who think that blondes are fun to play around with but are not really marriage material unless they want a trophy wife. Kind of like the women who like bad boys to play around with, but wouldn't marry one. A lot won't admit it but many guys do think that blondes are missing a little more upstairs.

Could be true but my blonde wife had 1580 SAT's with full scholarships right thru graduate business school and has a very successful career. And, she is fun to play around with!

They've taken a natural inclination toward younger and healthier mates to the extreme so it's nearly pedophilia now.

You may want to reconsider your friends and/or life choices if you think most men like prepubescent girls. This is highly disturbing.

Not pp but I've heard of this before but associated more with Caucasian men. Men from other cultures tend to prefer some curves but Caucasian men prefer that skinny, shapeless, model, borderline prepubescent shape. Have you noticed how most Caucasian women are obsessed with staying thin which explains all the insecurity problems trying to maintain that shape.

The white women obsessed with being thin and fit is much talked about by minority women.

Pale head = pale heart = pale personality.

I feel like blondes have their appeal to special groups of men in the USA, the kinds who are very conscious of social status and want one by their arm in order to scream "look at me I made it!". While Hispanic, Arabian, and to a lesser extent Asian men like blondes; I also notice that certain types of white men are obsessed with them.

What I've noticed is that southern white men really love blondes and absolutely hate it when blondes go interracial, seen some get violent over it and challenge a guy to a fight. LOL I still recall being on a Euro trip with this guy from suburban Atlanta who saw a beautiful model blonde in the Netherlands making out with an Arab looking guy, you could see the anger in his eyes as he went on about how "backwards" a lot of people from that part of the world are and how they "need money" to get women.

A friend of mines was a darker skinned guy from Libya and he was married to this Scandinavian beauty, the two lived in suburban Atlanta for a little bit and they received their share of hell lol. The guy told me how random "country boys" would hit on his girl, ignore him, and then try to get physical with him when they realized his girlfriend wasn't interested in them. She said that sometimes she would make out with him then and there and the guys would drop some racial slurs out of anger, it would get them worked up for sure.

I notice that guys in general who have a blonde obsession have it because they are trying to climb a social ladder and appear as cool to society. Frat bros, southern guys, and macho white guys do tend to be very obsessed with blonde women.

Not to generalize and exceptions exist, some guys are just attracted to lighter hair color in women, but to a vast majority it is a status thing.

Definitely, a lot of "southern girls" tend to bleach their hair blonde and get fake tans in order to fit that barbie girl image, find it all too much in cities like Dallas and Atlanta. Some of the most entitled, self-centered, and sociopathic women you will ever meet.

Funny thing is that natural blondes I've met were cool women.

I dunno if it's a blonde woman thing or a white woman thing. Whether the woman had dark hair, I think white Southern dudes might still get pissed about her being with a black guy.

As a brunette woman who lived in Dallas for many year, I never felt like blonde women had any kind of advantage in getting attention. if anything, I felt like my brunette hair made me stand out (in a good way) and I think many of the other brunette women in our social group felt they had the same advantage. That being said, I'm sure there were many guys that only like blonde women down there, just as there are many who only like brunettes. It was just never enough of a thing to where I noticed it.

I felt like the "going blonde" thing was more of a social thing women did to blend into the social group, rather than an effort to get guys.

I don't know about that.

When I lived down south, people didn't care as much if a minority dated a brunette, especially if she was tanned. I remember my Hispanic friend dating this tanned brunette down south and people kinda assumed they were both latinos lol.

There is something about blondes going interracial down there, with any minority group, they just don't like it.

Well, again, I think that has more to do with skin color. I'm pale and as caucasian as it gets, 100% anglo descent. So perhaps for someone with darker skin, having blonde hair is kind of an indication of anglo background? So it kind of makes the person look more anglican? Most of my friends were also pale, anglo looking. So, like I said, i would hazard to guess it's more of a skin color issue that makes the difference.

It isn't as big of a deal if its a brunette down south but a hot blonde with a minority? Especially if he is Hispanic or brown or some kind of foreign? Huge deal!

A hot, pale brunette would cause the same stir.

Doubtful, might cause a stir but the animosity won't be the same. A hot blonde with a minority would cause more issues because those women are seen as "American".
