Just got one in the Gen. Parenting Discussion thread on a 3yo still nursing. Clicked on p. 2 and got popups and loud beeping with a message stating some warning about Verizon. It started opening up new tabs. Had to force shutdown my Mac.

I just got another weird page redirect--- I was reading 9 week old not smiling-- and was redirected to wpvsurveys.com with a pop up that said I was selected for a verizon survey.

Using Chrome on a Mac.

I'm trying to troubleshoot this. I was able to reproduce it once last time this happened, but I'm striking out this time. I'll keep at it.

I have a screen shot if you need it-- not sure how else to help. I feel like it only happens to me.

Have you cleared your cookies lately? It may actually be mostly you if you have a cookie they are triggering on.

Let me clear it and see if they stop the pop ups (seem to happen at least one a week).

I got a very similar one for Adobe Flash update (which is a notorious virus) on the Political Discussion Forum.
