+ 1. Heard at key auction "what's an 'AU Park'? How close is that to Jackson Hole?"

God, I'm so glad we didn't buy that house IB for Key! The Key snobs on this board are insufferable. Does that area support Trump?

The city is 90+ percent democratic. Do you realize how fucking stupid you sound if that is your go to insult?

I think the point was that putting people down for their lesser wealth, smaller houses, etc. is pretty Trumpian. Those posters may not actually vote Republican, but their attitude displayed here is along exactly those lines.

Puh-leez. AU Park is more expensive than the Palisades and certainly Foxhall Village. The highest earners in both neighborhoods do not even go to public schools. I reckon the average income at Key is lower than at Janney. That being said, OP, yes, please move to Janney and away from Key.

No idea if that's true, but it's besides the point. Over and over on these Janney threads, Key and Mann posters show up to mock AU Park's small houses and their supposedly overextended, cash-strapped owners who are supposedly desperate for recognition, while Key and Mann parents would never "deign" to consider Janney. That's eye roll worthy and yeah, kind of Trumpian.

Seriously... can't people recognize a joke and a troll.. having 'fun' at the expense of Janney, Key & Mann.

Janney is a disaster, an absolute disaster. Janney moms and AU Park residents generally have a lot of hate in their hearts folks, a lot of hate. A lot of hate.

There's something going on there.

There is virtually no difference in the education a child will get at key, mann, janney or several other nw es.

The real and very important difference is where they go next. I can see moving for MS.

Yes, a Democrat would look at it as the opportunity to sexually assault or rape a woman and get away with it. Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton, and Chris Dodd sure did!

There's still a big difference between Deal and "Hardly" Middle School.

The difference isn't in the public school education at the elementary level. It's in the class expectations above and beyond.

The discount aisle at Target maybe? Guessing. Surely it's wherever people who don't know anything about wine buy it in bulk packages.

Actually, Rodman's sells wine in vacuum boxes in its extensive, specialized wine department, although I have never bought it. This form of wine packaging is actually pretty common in Europe, and not only for the cheapest wines.

Yup, my parents in Germany who know quite a bit about wine always have some in the pantry. You can get some pretty good wines in such boxes in Europe. Obviously not your finest, special bottles, but some decent wines for everyday use. It's simply a modern adaptation of the traditional bota bag:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bota_bag

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weinschlauch

I have no idea about the quality of wine sold in such boxes in the US, but in principle, there is no need to be a snob about it.
