Why are Lifetime movies so terrible these days?

The ones I remember from my young teen years (so late 80's/90's) was when two step siblings fell in love. The step brother I think was a popular actor too.

The other one was two "bad" girls and Andy Griffith played a mean, corrupt judge. I think the one girl's name was Shawnee or something? I think she also played the pregnant girl in Summer School

Lifetime movies suck lately

If you like lifetime movies, i recommend skimming through tubi originals! Some of them are awful too but there are good gems like obsessed to death (which was actually on lifetime a few days ago!)

I grew up in the 80 & 90, and as a “ pre teen” , I was absolutely fascinated by these movies! The first I ever saw was “ the burning bed”- Farrah Fawcett. One with Valerie Bertenelli talking to herself, writing the same thing over and over on the wall-and my favorite, merideth Baxter Birney and a character with thick, great hair called “ Guy” getting her hooked on drugs when she was a nurse-comparing these movies, to the ones they churn out now, is like comparing a bar of platinum to a turd on a stick. I found this and had to comment, because I am trying to find the names of really old school actresses who were always in these movies, and that way, I can make myself a list of the good lifetime movies, and have a great girl night on my couch and enjoy a guilty pleasure from my kiddy days.😊 Stephanie Zimbalist-obscure one- took me forever to find her name..

Lifetime movies are simply the WORST!!! The plot is ALWAYS that someone is set to do some one else in!!! We have ENOUGH of people being harmed in REAL LIFE why show almost ALL THE movie plots about MURDER??? Can we not get the hell away from movie plots about MURDER???

It seems that SOME PEOPLE like these kind of movies that spew HATRED , BETRAYAL and lost hope! Sick of these AWFUL MOVIES which after a few seconds I switch off to something NOT much better!!! There just is SO much BAD STUFF on TV these days!!!!!
