Quick differences in playgroups from a nannywho's been to both Little Graces and Blue Igloo(and heard a lot about Intown)

Intown was the orginal, has drop-off for 2 year olds, an attendance policy for parents(Once every 2 weeks or so) and is known for being most exclusive/I think is the smallest in terms of number of kids.

Blue Igloo is like 8 years old or so and was created to be international(they do french, english, spanish) starts younger then intown and seems to get Moms half the time(5-8 Most days, Mostly moms on Fridays) Rumor around BI is they are starting a parent attendance policy and/or second program because of demand

Little Graces is turning for profit(Both the others are non-profit) and is the newest. I heard they were started to serve Spring Valley by a Former Blue Igloo Mom so the activities are similiar but they just do english songs, I think this year they started pulling 2 year olds out after snack to do more structured things But last year when I was there Little Graces was a lot of just free play and not many organized activities.

It all depends on what you want and I'd venture it varies some year to year in terms of moms attending versus nannies, how nice people are, number of kids on any day, etc.

No ... I was wondering the same thing and I didn't receive any guidance as to timeframe -- anyone?

Hysterical.

16:46 - hysterical perhaps, but not an accurate portrayal. The applicants to Blue Igloo and Intown are pretty much the same group.

Perhaps not. We applied to Blue Igloo and Little Graces, but not to Intown.

So if you got in to all three which would you choose to send your child?

Sadly, we were waitlisted at Intown. Does anyone know if the list ever moves? Any advice on getting a spot?
