I haven't seen that one but saw the original from the 80s with Gena Rowlands who was nominated for an Oscar. So good!

These are really really good movies with very nuanced performances.
But I think they were pretty popular in their time -- lots of people saw them.

I really wish Serenity had done better in the theatres. I think the creators were hoping it would have franchise potential like Star Trek. Such a good series.
