Bernie's plan is to raise taxes on the rich until they scream mercy and have become the middle class. He will also tax corporations who will then incorporate outside this country just like Pfizer is doing and even jobs will move to Europe, India and China. When he has sucked them dry, he will be out of office and dead and won't give two sh!t$.


I can;t beleive the people falling for his plan - but then again, most of his supports can't see passed his 'Free" stuff they will be given.

Maybe this is me being a pragmatic, but she is the only one who can beat a Republican and the only moderate in the current presidential race.

You all are missing out the point. Raising the minimum wage will do nothing to account for what is the root cause of poverty: discrimination.

He told you. He is going to tax the wealthy at an extremely high rate. He is going to tax the people with money off shore (that's really going to help bring business to our shores!). He is going to tax the middle class--but you will be happy because you won't have to pay insurance premiums.

Problem is, that still won't be enough to fund what he is promising.

What is the the tax rate/brackets? How does he envision implementing single payer health care? Does he have the votes to accomplish this? How is this general plan benefiting me, as a middle class citizen, aside from healthcare? What impact is this going to have on the economy? How will this affect international commerce treaties? How will this impact the budget?

The reality is, the Republicans can't mount a decent argument, much less a campaign. Now is the time for Dems to think and act big. If they don't, we know why: They've sold out. I'm looking at you, Hillary Clinton.

This is what ultimately persuaded me to go with Bernie. He's right and he's got the guts to fight for it. Obviously there are many who don't think he can get the nomination but that remains to be seen. If Hillary gets it, I will vote for her. She is not my first choice.

Clinton doesn't really represent progress. The GOP represents moving backwards. Neither of them are a good choice for positive change. That's why I'm leaning toward Sanders.

The last Clinton administration was good economically for all Americans and Obama has taken from depression to five percent unemployment. So yes, more please.

+1. These things are nice ideas, but there's no realistic chance of getting them passed the way Sanders has proposed. Someone previous criticized Clinton essentially for proposing change that is too incremental (e.g., improving the health care system we have rather than implementing a universal health care system), but the reality is the Dems best chance of getting things done in the next 4-8 years if they win the presidency. I'll take someone who understands political reality any day. For years under W. the Democrats "thought big" and took big, principled stands on things, and the Republicans out-smarted them every step because the Republicans were pragmatic. Now that the Democrats have become more pragmatic as well, they've had better results .

Absolutely, I agree. It's so easy for Bernie to say these things, but, there is absolutely no way he can get ANY of it done.
