Republicans jumping into the Paris fray, saying all the wrong things...

The Republicans who are reacting with xenophobia and Islamaphobia are doing exactly what ISIS hopes they will. Their goal is to destroy the gray zone of coexistence between Muslims and others. They've made that clear.

OBL goaded Bush and Congress into intervening in Afghanistan and got the ball rolling. Heckuva job.

Pretty sure that ISIS isn't motivated by the statements of the Republicans you are oddly obsessed with.

If you think ISIS distinguishes reactions you are delusional. They would murder Bernie Sanders just as gladly as they would Sheriff Joe.

But would they shoot the Deputy?

Open Carry is already the death by a thousand cuts - Far more Americans have been killed because of our lax gun laws than have died in all of the wars we ever fought combined.

But no one dies in those cities where we have strong gun laws.

Cities with strong gun laws are irrelevant because for example in Chicago all anyone has to do is drive 25 minutes to a gun show in Indiana and make a private purchase and not even have to get a background check. This is why NATIONAL policy is needed, and why states rights and local policy does not work.

I would like to see some statistics that this is what is happening.
Those promoting gun control continuously say this, but offer no proof that this is what is happening.

Figure it out, dumbass Lefties.

Do you seriously want people to carry guns to rock concerts? Have you ever been to a rock concert?

Yes. The ones I attend? No issues.

Based on your taste of music, I wouldn't call those rock concerts and -- in true Ben Carson style -- almost everyone would have a belt buckle capable of stopping even heavy machine gun fire. Plus, the terrorists couldn't see over the hats.

Don't know about Chicago, but there are no gun stores in the city of Washington, DC. There are no gun shows or events sponsored in DC. The armory, stadium, or convention center holds almost every type of event, except gun shows. Unfortunately for individuals living in the city who desire to mail order a rifle, hand gun, assault rifle, etc DC does not have a registered gun agent to first legally receive and take possession. So, people such as my hubby retain their out of state driver licenses and buy their weapons in other jurisdictions, but live in the city. It's not rocket science. It takes all of ten minutes to drive to points from DC into either MD or VA to purchase weapons. Walmart use to sell ARs in some of their MD stores.
