Am I the only one who thinks Kate Middleton is anorexic?

The Frnch poster and her ilk are idiots. Kate makes Nicole Kidman and all those indubitably skinny actresses look fat and we're supposed to believe this formerly athletic , healthy looking woman is not struggling with something? She looks too frail to do any kind of job much less scamper off to it in her high heels every morning.

And she is aging so rapidly too, which I think has everything to do with her extremely low body fat. She looks about 40.

If you had cameras taking extremely high resolution close up pics of your face from every angle with all kinds of lighting (usually harsh), you'd look "rapidly aging" too. Give me a break, give other women a break, if she is not considered young and beautiful then show me you.

I don't want to speculate on what's going on with her, but I used to really admire her body in the years leading right up to her wedding. She had a great toned, athletic shape I would love to have had.

She may be good looking, but that doesn't change the fact that she looks older than she is.

Harsh lighting does not account for that quality of wrinkles at 30. I am 27 and get mistaken for a 17 year old (asked, "where are you going to college?" and those kinds of questions) on the reg and I dont consider it particularly remarkable, cause other friends around my age get similar treatment.

Kate is a few years older and I would think she was 45 if I passed her in the street.

After my second child I got down, below, my middle school weight. Nursing a newborn and chasing a toddler around had the weight just fall off.

She is way to thin for a thirty something mother of two.
In university she was average size and usually people get thinner when older.

She looks great.

And I like Harry with the beard!

Sadly, you act worse than most 17 year olds, too.

nothing to be proud of

There actually is and it's from the women who can actually see that this woman is struggling with an eating disorder and setting a terrible example for all other women.

You don't think she has access to makeup that addresses lighting issues the way every single woman in the public spotlight does?

Oh Lord, we've had this discussion already.

No, she is not anorexic. Anorexia is a rare and life-threatening mental illness. Not every thin person is anorexic.

Europeans are generally much thinner than Americans (not exactly hard!).

Some people find it hard to gain weight at certain points in their life - my mother is like this, and she eats quite normally.

She is probably very conscious of her image and has the means to perfect it - which again, in Europe, is a perfectly good one.

Some of us are just built this way - even in our 40s after two kids.

This.

True but in Kate Middleton's case if you see pictures of her from 5 years ago it's very clear that she's not built the way she looks now. I don't know if she's anorexic but I do think she's under tremendous pressure and one of the things she can control is what and how much she eats.

Exactly. She was never even close to being overweight but she had a more athletic build and I think her face has changed quite dramatically, too. She used to be much more round/full in her cheeks. She is beautiful either way, but her weight loss is very noticeable.

Perhaps the stress and more restrictive lifestyle (two kids, constant scrutiny over her and her activities, two tough pregnancies) hasn't lent itself to working out and thus she's lost a lot of muscle. I am 31 and have been recovering from an injury this year and I've lost a ton of weight bc all of my muscles have atrophied.

+1 I feel for her. Not an easy life to be under the microscope as she is. Frankly, you couldn't pay me enough to take her place. Way too much pressure.

Stress is not being able to pay your bills or feed the kids. Stop feeling sorry for this Princess.
