Oh how I wish just SOMEONE in that family would come out from the defender camp and just be a normal freaking human! Josh is f*cked up and his parents and siblings backing him up doesn't help him or his wife and kids at all.

The credit card information gives his grandma Mary's house address, the house where Josh & Anna lived when they got married. So either it is Josh Duggar, or it is someone with his name who live(d) in that house.

Yeah, it's definitely him. The Duggars live in an insular world and were all homeschooled. It doesn't surprise me at all that they would be pretty naive about the internet. And to be blunt, Josh doesn't strike me as the smartest guy out there.

mostly the education these home school kids get won't make it easy to get to decent schools

Right because Anna at all has the paradigm to do any of this. Divorce is incredibly frowned upon in her religious environment. She would be blamed and ostracized. She has no education outside of whatever garbage her parents "taught" her in home school so how the F is she going to be a nurse or engineer? She's been taught the most important thing is to be chaste and proper so she was and in return her scumbag husband who demanded she be chaste and proper looks for "steamy affairs" on Ashley Madison all while she's pumping out and caring for kids as their beliefs tell them is her duty. Poor Anna is probably dealing with a crisis of identity and the faith she relies on to get her through this is the very reason she's in this mess so that's a mindfuck. It's not so easy to just say "Anna should get child support and go to school and work!" NOTHING in Anna's life experiences have prepared her for that.

Anna's father sure knows how to pick 'em. Her sister is married to an unemployed grifter who housed his family in a pop-up trailer for months before moving them (all gazillion children including a newborn) all to Africa for missionary work.

JAnna will NEVER leave. A big part of their cult is "God hates divorce more than anything". They follow some parenting philosophy that says even if your DH molests your kids and goes to prison that is still not reason for divorce and you need to stand by him. These people also believe that hitting a baby with a ruler is a good way to parent. Let's face if if you want to identify a cheater, molester or closeted gay homophobe just look to whatever republican is spouting off "family values"
