I'm sick and DH has early tee time---who brings DD to school tomorrow?

If I felt horrible - head pounding, especially if I was throwing up - I would have told him "too bad, you need to take her to school or take her to the range to watch her." If I just had the standard body aches, cough, fever I might just suck it up and take her myself. The whole golf game with buddies, wanting time at the range thing seems sort of frivolous. But if this was a rare thing for dh and I understood why he wanted to get there a little early (to catch up with his buddies beforehand or just to practice his rusty skills a little) I might just tough it out for him and take her myself. I guess the logic being - I'm going to feel like crap whether I'm laying in bed or not. I can not count the number of times I toughed it out for work or as a student in school. Why not do it for dh sometimes, too?

Of course, if he's just being an inconsiderate jerk and this is just par for the course for him that's a different story entirely.

Summer? What school?

Sorry, I really don't get how if he can get to his tee time, why this is even a question. Why would you get out of bed and drive your child to school when you are sick if you don't have to. One, you could be exposing the entire school. Two, if you are sick enough, you probably are not driving safely.

Bravo for the counseling. I honestly don't understand "attitude" between spouses. Feel better!

Wow. Glad he actually took her but WOW, with the attitude. Glad you are in counseling. You deserve better. This should have been a no-brainer. What a selfish jerk he is!

What gainfully employed man has a tee time on a Tuesday morning?

Oh never mind, I see it's actually daycare.
