Good luck, OP. The therapist is going to need to get your husband to recognize that he needs to lay down some serious boundaries with his mother and start looking at things like a grown man.

I am not saying his approach hasn't worked for PPs, but something smells about the timing of this barrage of endorsements for Gottman.

I am not one of the 'Gottman PP's' but he has definitely come up before, especially on this board. His studies are really well known.
