| I would think this was a boy's name, never heard it being used for girls. |
| I know two adult female Gracyns. I knew them long before I knew any boy Graysons and I used to love the name but now not so much. |
| It’s one of those gems that sounds both super pretentious and down-market at the same time. H8. |
Don't care how quickly you can figure this out-it seems like something one of the 16 and pregnant chicks would name their kid. |
| I'm the pp who knows two adult Gracyns. They are actually both from very wealthy blue-blood families and they are also both quite classy, so it's funny to me that everyone thinks the name is trashy! |
+1 I think trying to hard insecure parents. Baby is an accessory but make sure you have two. They have to be gender selected. |
I don't think trashy. But pretentious. |
Let's face it a pretentious name says a lot about the parents. When I think of class more recently it has been old names. And simple. Grayson/Braden/Jaden are all ridiculous names. These are parents that are about appearance. Mom has someone else take care of her kids so at 6 weeks she can go back to work and then spend two hours at the gym. House is a museum because it is cold and gray with a lonely neglected baby name Grayson. She will be sweet and adored as long as she pretty and thin. God help her if she isn't cute or chubby. |
Who works out when they have a baby? Who has he time? Oh wait. Reread. Sorry. |
I think that this says a lot more about you than about somebody who names their baby Grayson. (No, I did not name my baby Grayson. My children have English-Hanoverian-royalty names.) |
| Pretentious names GO |
OP here. It took me awhile because it just seemed "wrong" and honestly, ugly spelled that way. And I did figure it out. It just took me longer than if it had been spelled "Grayson." |
| Pretentious. |
Well yes, but if you want a name that starts with the sound G R AE S, then Grace is a lovely choice. |
But not the only lovely choice. |
