So it seems everyone is naming their girls Grayson. It is pretty, don't get me wrong but I feel bad for the boys... I have only noticed this in Loudoun, not as much in Fairfax. But four people I know just had little girls named Grayson. Why? |
| I know someone in CA who did it and I hate it. |
| Know two little girls in Loudoun with it. Honestly never met a boy with the name. |
| I teach college and I've had one student named Grayson. She's 21. Never met anyone else with the name before. |
| As long as you name your son Graydaughter |
|
I hate it for both boys and girls. It sounds pretentious unless it is a family name.
And looking up the meaning - son of the gray haired one??? That sounds like a curse in the making. |
|
Ha, thought it was a girl name.
The meaning is hilarious. |
It would be Graydottir. And still stupid
|
|
Know one Grayson, a boy. Think the name is hideous for either gender!

I find it insane to give family names when they are not your family. If you are the Grays and want to name a child Grayson, go for it. If you are James and want to name Jameson, acceptable. If not you are trying way to hard to bestow class on something. I keep thinking of freakonomics and baby naming. You aren't doing that kid any favors. |
| The familt I know called her Graycie, which is a whole nother level of annoying. |

| If people are going to name their children after counties in Virginia, they should just go all out and use Dinwiddie or Accomack or Pulaski. |
But make sure it is an -ie, right?
|
Perhaps the place where the child was conceived???? |
