Finally, someone with some sense on this thread. Doesn't matter if you like Beyonce or Kanye. What matters is that the album was groundbreaking. Before she did it, it had never been done. And she did it phenomenally. The Grammys would never reward that sort of thing...would encourage other artists and musicians to get from under the thumb of the immoral music industry.

BTW, music is all about taste levels. I think Beck sucks. And even HE was surprised he won. What kind of sucky ass musician doesn't think enough about his own music that he's surprised he won?!

A real artist shouldn't care who receives the Grammy. You and Kanye can stop being outraged for Beyonce. She's doing fine without the award. Well, except she's married to Jay-Z.

BTW, I don't know Jay-Z or Beyonce. I don't know their marriage. They seem to be in love and devoted to one another and their daughter. That's good enough for me.

He was selling his new shoes that come out this week. The little stunt got him a lot of free publicity. As far as what record should have won...it's always some mainstream artist. Usually one who has jumped the shark a long time ago. So either Beck or Beyoncé winning would not shock anyone and would be appropriate. Grammy's are old establishment types about 10-15 year behind what is going. Just look at the crowd.
