Am I going to die of rickets? I never eat vegetables.

I think extremely important to this is what DO you eat - do you eat Big Macs and French fries or grilled chicken and pasta? Do yiu eat tomato sauce? Soup?

Geez, I know. Just be a god damn adult. Your excuses are exasperating.

Wow, you all are tough. I eat a lot of veggies because I really enjoy them. One of my kids naturally really enjoys them, too (yay!). My husband is picky by comparison and my other kid is so picky that it's enough to make me pull my hair out.

My husband eats enough variety that it's generally not an issue. I wish he liked cauliflower, brussels sprouts, spinach, squash, etc but I know that he never will. My picky kid I just had to work with. I found that he prefers his veggies raw so we started off by having him try a broccoli floret - just one floret, each day for a few days and then we gradually added more until he was eating a full serving. He seems to mostly prefer crisp greens which is pretty lucky as those tend to be fairly nutritious. I've seen him put veggies on his plate at some potluck functions so I think (hope) he'll continue to eat them when he's an adult.

Romaine lettuce is pretty decent as far as nutrition goes. Find a dressing you like and make yourself salads with romaine and cucumber, add red bell pepper (SO GOOD), then gradually add small bits of broccoli, sliced carrots, cauliflower, etc.

If you're not eating any type of roufage or fruits, are you constipated? Or do you eat a fiber bar?

Just sneak them into smoothies or puree them and add them to the dishes you already make for meals.

We eat the Dr. Praeger spinach pancakes in our house as a vegetable option and my kids love them. They have a few other types of veggie pancakes as well. You might want to check those out OP.

OP, I get it. I don't eat any fruit (except Bananas and tomatoes) and people are constantly trying to convince me to change. It's just not going to happen.

I do try to eat veggies but I certainly don't get them every day. I am very healthy, although I am slightly overweight, and have 3 healthy children. I tried to eat a little better during pregnancy but did not really succeed.

I am vitamin d deficient but I take supplements. I wish I could force myself to eat a salad or fruit (other than bananas) daily but it just never seems to happen.

Neither.

To me, that would ruin the dishes. Then I wouldn't eat them.

I eat vegetables, but I never eat fruit. I don't care for them.

I have tons of berries, apples, etc of all kinds in my house. Kids get a huge plate of berries with their oatmeal. I rarely have any.

I am never sick and work out a lot.

At least you're not planning to have children, OP. So there's that.

I used to work with a woman who refused to eat vegetables from childhood through adulthood. She went on to have 4 children. During pregnancy she considered consuming a little bit of pesto as "progress." Needless to say, she's a physical wreck. I feel bad for the children of this irresponsible woman.

You'll be fine. Genetics are more important.

OP, do you have kids? I eat vegetables but only because I serve my kids vegetables. I hate anything mushy or bitter, so I can't stand overcooked veggies like spinach or asparagus. Thankfully I discovered fresh spinach salad and crisp roasted asparagus but I don't eat nearly enough fruits and vegetables.
