That's the thing though. If you read my OP, you'll see that I'm really NOT insecure. I'm not perfect - hey, judgmental obviously! - but insecurity isn't something I struggle with. Which makes me wonder why I do this.

I also don't curse on DCUM, though I do IRL. Like poor grammar and spelling, it renders posts irrelevant IMO.

Because although you like your nice, boring life (not judging you, I like mine also and actively seek no drama) you want to spice it up with a little excitement and drama that isn't really real since it's not in real life. The way a good story or movie needs conflict, so does your life and this is a safe way to get it.
