Ted's Bulletin (Merrifield) is NOT kid-friendly

You tried to get a table for a party of 6 during brunch. What did you expect?


I expected the 45 minute wait they told me when I called, or the 10 minute wait they told me when I arrived. Even allowing them to underestimate by 20-30 minutes they were way off.

I think it is the 10 am brunch time that is not kid-friendly. We live on Capitol Hill and if we want to go to Ted's, we leave the house early (since our toddler gets up at 6:30) and get a table as soon as they open at 7:00 am. No wait and the place is quiet. We don't try to go out to eat anywhere in the middle of a weekend morning. This isn't about a place not being kid-friendly, its about you needing to think through your timing a bit better.

I will also add that it has the worst coffee I have ever had a restaurant, anywhere. McDonald's has better coffee. I sent back the first pot thinking it had just been sitting too long.... nope. Just the world's worst coffee.
