Renee Zellweger looks completely different :(

Those photos don't look like she's in a better place - looks dead in the eyes.

What? Does this happen to regular people or just celebrities?

regular people. I had my eyelids done because I had ptosis that affected my vision. It had bothered me since I was 15. Had it done at 29. Doctor said it was one of the worse cases she had seen.

My crunchy, hippie, never wears makeup, lives in rural New Hampshire MIL had it done because her eyes were essentially half closed when they were open. She waited until her late 50s, but she probably should have done it when she was 40. So not the "cosmetic surgery type", so it definitely happens. If my eyes start doing it, I'll do it in a heartbeat

Just made DH look at the pics. He said she looks basically the same but older, and she is still attractive.

I think she looks like a totally different person, but if she's happy, good for her. Whatever she's had done, at least she still looks human, unlike some other people who have fallen prey to too much plastic surgery.

i have the heavy eyelid thing going on too, and it really bothers me. My mom had the surgery for the same thing, and I don't think she looks all that much different but it helped her vision.

My extremely low maintenance Midwestern FIL had the same surgery in his mid 60s. But he never tried to hide the fact that he had it done.

"As disturbing as it may be sometimes to see a public figure physically transform before our eyes, it's even more troubling to see how effortlessly we rush to say something about that transformation."

Here is someone doing it the right way age 60

Why is this thread not in off topic? It's about Renee Zellweger, not movies or TV. Too many thread getting moved around lately.

It was started here and is about a movie star. Seems appropriate to me.

How can you find young girl that will look like Christie Brinkley at age 60.

To me "doing it right" doesn't mean having amazing genes so you can age well like Christie--who's prob has some cosmetic procedures but also looks like she's lucky in that department. Doing it right should mean aging gracefully. I'm sorry if she's under pressure and Hollywood (the world) is ageist with women. But I refuse to feel bad for a millionaire starlet who refuses to even own that she had work done--cut the BS about living a happy and healthy life Renee.

Her business. But of course people notice such a drastic change, duh. It's just like when Star Jones (or many other celebrities who had surgery for weight loss) started saying they were 'eating healthy and working out'. It's still her business, lol, just say that, it's my damn busines, not "I work out more! I'm a vegan!" or whatever. It is kinda drastic, but she looks good, I always thought Robin Wright looked great.

Eyes look different and face looks thinner. She looks much different than the 2013 picture. I actually think a lot of it is the makeup though - less dramatic - plus the thinner face, maybe she has lost weight.

She looks awful. It's unfortunate that she had the means to pay all that money to ruin her face. The eye job ages her and her hair doesn't even look washed. She was adorable before the surgery.

She looks more masculine in the face.

She looks fucking terrible! Overdosing on botox is NEVER attractive.
