Just saw the PP who also mentioned this. Curious if it was non-alcoholic, but I thought one of Danielle's relatives asked him whether he drank beer and he said yes.

Mohamed does drink beer -- he told her family this when they were at the BBQ place. He doesn't eat meat, but he does drink beer. Danielle's brother made a joke about "But what about bacon??"

Danielle has 3 daughters at home, but she also has a son who lives outside of the home. He met Danielle and Mohamed at a pool hall, where he went outside with Mohamed to talk with him and make sure his mom wasn't being used.

Did anyone else cringe when Mohamed went to the bar with a group of guys he "ran into" and then played football with? The women hitting on/flirting with Mohamed? The acting was so, so, SO terrible. Seemed very scripted.

...and now I have to go hang my head in shame because I know and wrote that much information about the show.

He does eat meat. It just has to be Halal - slaughtered a certain way. Thunk Kosher. Similar to that. No pork.
But he drinks. A lot of young Muslim men in certain countries seem to be kind of like that.
