90 Day Fiance

Is anyone watching this show? I saw a few episodes of the first season and the second season starts tonight. Danielle, the single mother of 3 teenage girls is having a guy from Tunisia move in with her? WTH is she thinking???

I just discovered this show today (had it on in the background). I feel bad for Danielle. Obviously, she is desperate for affection and has fooled herself into thinking a young guy (from abroad or the US) would be interested in her. But mostly, I feel bad for her kids. I would be incredibly embarrassed if my mother ordered a fiancé 15-20 years her junior. I wonder if they had a say in whether they would be filmed.

I watched the first season. Will probably tune in for the second. Have it recorded anyway....

The segments with Danielle and Mohammed made me cringe. Also the guy in Washington, DC with Daya (from the Philippines) looks like a disaster. Chelsea and the singer from Nicaragua look like they are in love.

Danielle looks so desperate. It's so obvious this guy wants a green card.

I watched this for the first time tonight. The "fifth *and* sixth grade PE teacher" (his words) and the girl he met at a hot dog stand in Colombia are interesting. He clearly wants a cleaning lady and lots of sex! Why won't he introduce her to his family? Why the secrecy?

Poor Danielle. She seems like she's kind hearted, but naive and dare I say, not very smart. I was hoping that Mohammed would not show up and she'd realize she'd been scammed, but that wouldn't make for good tv viewing. Danielle looks like Mohammed's mother. No way is that guy remotely attracted to her. And, he's staying with the mom and three teenage girls for 90 days? Wrong! That family appears to have enough problems.

And, the divorced dad in Snohomish, Washington? He's gay. I'm not certain he's aware of it, but he'd be better off finding a nice man for himself. Zero chemistry with the woman from the Philippines. And, his mother strongly resembles his girlfriend. He wants a mom for his daughter and should hire a nanny.

Danielle looks likes she has mental issues.

I thought the 5th-6th grade PE teacher was for real and really met a girl while on vacation that he fell for and doesn't want to tell his fam bc they'll judge. Until I saw him the morning after and he put her to work washing dishes, parked himself in front of the tv, and said "I'm king of the bedroom, you're queen of the kitchen." It's clear he wants sex and a maid and has realized that a "foreign" women looking for a visa will provide that. I really hope she leaves before her 90 days is up; if he's behaving like that on day 2, imagine what it's going to be like on day 92 -- he's the type who'll likely hold it over her for life that she's only in the U.S. bc of him and he's earning all the money, so she better comply whether it's housework or sex.

The 41 yr old -- wow she has issues. How could she think a 26 yr old that looks like that would go for her?? Is she so lonely that she's convinced herself it's for real? In her heart of hearts she realizes he doesn't WANT to marry her -- or else why would she freak out so bad when he didn't call her for a few hrs between NYC and Ohio and why did she suspect he just used her for travel to the US and would disappear? One of the daughters even said -- you wonder if this is for a visa. I'm surprised the daughters aren't saying that to their mom directly -- they are old enough that they get it, why not "educate" her??

There was a guy last season who also was probably gay but hadn't figured it out. What's interesting is I used to be a consular officer and we're supposed to be able to pick out which people applying for fiance visas are "real" and which ones are running some kind of visa scam. I'm thinking I probably wouldn't have granted the young hot guy the visa in the first place.
There was one last season where the girl was from somewhere in South America and she looked about fifteen and she had never had running water before. YOu wonder about that one too. He was a thirty year old Mormon missionary who met her while on a mission. She converted to become a Mormon.

Yeah, last season's young girl from South America with the older Mormon was creepy, especially since she still didn't look of age, and he'd picked her out years ago when she was a child.

The gym teacher looked like he had a mean streak, and I don't doubt he'll make his new sex servant miserable.

I'm not so sure the Tunisian or the Nicaraguan are exactly straight. For the daughters' sakes, I hope the Tunisian is not. Can you imagine bringing a 26-year-old man into your household of teen daughters? That mother has a lot of mental issues, though. The poor kids. . . .

I didn't get to watch all of it last night, but that Daya looks like the worst of the bunch. Complaining about the bouquet b/c it's not a dozen roses. Asking if her engagement ring is fake. And why does she wear blue contacts? She's a gold digger!!!

Mohammed is looking for a green card to come to America. It's so convenient that a good looking 26 year old would use his religion as an excuse not to have sex w/ that 40 something frumpy woman.
