What's up with Brett's lips? Are they chapped and turn that purple-red color or is he wearing lipstick? I find his lips oddly distracting yet fascinating.

I feel bad for Danielle. She obviously isn't very smart and can't see how there is no way, nada, zilch that her marriage is for love. He will become a resident and leave her as soon as he can legally stay in the country.

Is it really true about not kissing during Ramadan? If so, why wouldn't he have told Danielle well in advance?

Why couldn't he just give her a semi chaste kiss on the lips? I could just cringe that he stood there and gave the awkward, halting speech and then her family convinced him that it was ok if Danielle kissed him. Then Danielle gave him that terrible upper cheek-hair kiss like I give my preteen son.

Anyone else notice how Brett's mom has aged in the 90 days? During the first episode, Dawn looked young enough to be mistaken for his wife. Fast forward to Sunday's episode and Dawn has grey roots and a deeply lined face. Really?

Um, no. You can't have sexual relations during the day in Ramadan, but a kiss should be fine based on what I'm reading. You're not supposed to do something that would break the fast (including sexual relations), but did Mohammed eat cake during the wedding? Between that and drinking beer, clearly he's not particularly observant and it's all about avoiding relations with Danielle.

I agree. I'm actually put off that the network would even air their story for the ratings. I mean, yes it's entertaining but Danielle has got to have some mental issues, be it low IQ or whatever. It almost feels like exploitation. I cringe every time they get to her story line.
