I think I've only ever had them cooked. Maybe beets just aren't for me. DS2, 4, loves them, however, so I buy the overpriced package at Whole Foods for him.

Hey, PP, I think I'm that PP that mentioned Major Dickason's coffee. I learned it from an acquaintance who was a chef that had studied at Cordeon Bleu in Paris. She had sampled every brand out there. Also there is some story there--something like the person who came up with that coffee helped with Starbucks blends in some way (I don't remember the story but there is some connection). This was a few years ago so there might be something tastier, but every single person who has my coffee spontaneously comments on how good my coffee is. |
