Why the hell are morons arguing about years of sexlessness when this thread is about new parents?

Put your soapboxes away, folks. It makes you look unhinged. Years without sex is not OP's problem. Feel free to start yet another sexless marriage thread.

A lot of women marry a guy b/c he fits their check list. Once married, the woman wants a kid or two, after that she is done with the husband, all he has to do is bring in the money and stay out of the way. If he wants sex, well that is rape.

But why are you bringing that up here? That's my question. I suppose if you were able to listen to the question at hand, you wouldn't be rambling on about imaginary problems.

I hear that unicorns make great family pets. Also, what color should I paint mg nails?

Maybe a tad off topic, but generally true. Women marry a guy that meets their checklist. They have sex. They have children. They they fuck A DIFFERENT GUY like they're practicing for porn. So, to the husbands wondering why the sex slows down or becomes non-existent after the kid, it's because you're the dad, not the sexy stud she wants to fuck and suck.

What about men who lose interest in their wives? Are they just using them for kids and childcare?

I'm really sorry your wife doesn't want to fuck you. That's not how it works out for most couples.

A lot of guys who ended up sexless for a year plus got started by being patient immediately after the baby was born - just like OP. That's why talking about such scenarios is a relevant response to the PPs telling OP just to be patient and nonsexual.

Can you give us some stats on that?

It is interesting that lesbians in long term relationship have less sex vs any other type of couples...lesbian bed death. It just a women's thing, it's not a priority.

Women sex drive is connected to status, wants, competition, etc. After marriage and kids, the husband does not provide these things. You can see this sometimes after a divorce. 40 + women will do a lot more after the divorce with a less attractive guy to get a ring.

This thread is beyond warped, and it really doesn't paint men in a good light at all. Men posting here, you should know that you look like absolute morons/neanderthals.

I've dated men and women. There are two people that have been able to match my drive. It was my ex girlfriend and my current guy. Men were just as likely as women to be lower drive, IME. I left one guy because he took offense at my frequent, and usually rebuffed, requests for sex. It seems like men say they want a woman who's really into sex, but get bored if they aren't doing the pursuing, or just bored in general.

Exactly. I'm glad my guy doesn't say this shit.

Because women who no longer give blowjobs after they get married is a cliche for no apparent reason. Stupid misogynistic men with their made up fantasies about sex drying up for years after babies arrive.

I read several places that sex rarely or never occurs in 15-20% of marriages. That's not most.

I'm sure The Google could help you in finding the very same information.
