oh god, really? that first mini-skirt/thigh high boots post is a god damned disaster. That pixie cut does not suit her at all ( and I freaking love pixie cuts) and everything is a post about shredded jeans and loose sweat shirts. I'm confused.

Me too. The striped mini and boots combo is baaaaaaaad.

Some of her pieces in later posts are cute.

She has a pixie cut bc she had breast cancer.

Then why are you on a Beauty and Fashion Forum. Everyone cares. It's animal nature to care.

Is this blog for sahms? Everything that I viewed seemed very casual. Nothing I would wear to the office or out for drinks with friends.

Most things will look great when you are fit, even things from Target etc. It takes more effort to look fashionable 20 lbs overweight, and tends to cost more money. At least, that's been my experience, having been on both sides of the fence.

While I enjoy watching stylish svelte young things, I am in absolute awe of overweight women who dress nicely with some style. They are going against the stereotype and often have to take more time and trouble to find flattering clothes, often having to get them tailored.

I am of average weight. Seeing one of these women brightens up my day and is so inspiring.

Come sit by me. Skinny jeans, boots and a scarf aren't "stylish" no matter how well they fit or how much they cost. They are just another version of the same uniform everyone else is wearing.

The most stylish woman I've ever seen in DC was pushing ninety. Every day she dressed head to toe in either baby pink or powder blue. She was fabulous. Sadly, she passed away about a year ago.

PP here. I will sit by you if you help me! I feel like if I try to wear any designer-inspired pieces (for example, Rick Owens type stuff, can't afford the actual product), I feel like I'm playing dress-up.

Me too! Would add in hair groomed in flattering style (not over coifed) and some subtle makeup.

These women, who can be of any age, can make me feel like a slob in a way Kate Middleton or an anorexic model never could.

When you look good everything is stylish

I like witblog, wearing it today. I like how she polls the success or lack of it to her outfits.

I am a stylish mom. Not as stylish as a fashion blogger, but considered stylish by many others. Most of my clothes were purchased before I had kids. I've only kept the pieces that look classic or still fresh, so they aren't outdated. I never shopped for "mom clothes" and still wear my stylish clothes daily. It doesn't take any longer than pulling on mom clothes.

That used to be me. Now I'm not interested in them, but I can spend hours looking at home&design magazines .

I am not interested, I just don't have the time to be fashion obsessed. But then again, it means Tory Burch or whatever the sheeple are wearing, so no wonder I remain UNinspired!

If you happen to see someone distinct OP, ask them where they might recommend you shop. But most of what I see here is the same old crap on boy bodies. No thanks.

I really would like to know how long her routine takes in the morning.

I really want to be that person. I have the money and the body, but I just don't have the drive. I'd rather take 20 mins from start of shower to start of engine. I have no patience for hair dryers and make-up. The upside is that when I do try, I'm unrecognizable to people who know me. I love going up to someone at a party or something and seeing their blank stare when I start talking to them and then they realize that it is me, Mrs. Sloppy. I'm usually anonymous to their DHs and then all of a sudden they want to say hi and get to know me. Too funny!

Some people just know style. I'm not one of those people. I have a friend who goes to TJmax and always looks like she stepped out of a catalog.

I love stylish moms and always seek them out. I love it when people have style and show it.
