For black tea with caffeine, Tetley with milk and sugar.
For herbal, Celestial seasonings Lemon Ginger. It tastes so good! |

My favorite is Twinings Earl Grey.
But I recently discovered that my frugal Mom's favorite - Red Rose - is actually not bad. It makes a good strong cup, and has an interesting flavor. The only flavored tea I like is The Republic of Tea's Ginger peach - with a little sugar in the raw it is yummy. YUMMY. I'm pickier with chai - I like the chai that they make at Tryst in Adams Morgan. And I like Teaism's chai. But in terms of buying, I really only like Oregon Chai (which is also used at Cosi). I've grown used to Starbucks Chai, but it's not a favorite. I've tried to like Constant Comment, but just don't. |
| 2 round bags of Tetley Original. I use the imported one which is much more flavorful and pungent than the USA market one. With 2 bags it makes it almost as strong as black coffee. |
| Good Earth is a nice spicy-sweet blend. Otherwise, I drink Yogi Lemon Ginger tea. |
I buy Twinnings of London at Safeway. |
| I love Bigelow Vanilla Chai |
|
Taylors of Harrogate, Yorkshire Gold (I order online)
PG Tips I generally like strong black tea with a little bit of warm milk in it and sugar |

Mariage Freres..Love Marco Polo, Vert Provence....
Kusmi Tea is also great. I've seen both brands at the Dean and Deluca in Georgetown. |

You know what's good?
Bigelow's Chai Tai with a hit of eggnog in it and a little sugar. |

Green tea- Kirklands relabeled Ito En brand and Two Leaves brands. Nothing added.
Black tea- Harneys and Tetley (imported). Nothing added. Chai- Indian black dried tea- add milk and spices. Herbal- Most any rooibos, peppermint, and chamomile tea. Nothing added. I dislike all Tazo teas, Oregon Chai's, and Lipton teas. |
I love these too and always buy them online. I like Twinings Darjeeling and Lady Grey for lighter black teas, again both with milk and sugar. Tazo china green tips is a nice, readily available green tea, and Twinings green isn't bad (though I'm not a fan of their green jasmine). Herbal tisanes are lovely. Teaism sells a nice chamomile-mint blend called Quiet Evening. |
| Twinings Lady Grey - milder than Earl Grey |
|
| Chai tea with milk and sugar |
