English breakfast tea, it's mild and a little sweet

I had this tea at a conference I attended out of town and loved it! For caffeinated tea, I love me some Earl Grey.

Oh I'm not OP but can't wait to read the replies…can you please tell us what brand and where you get it (what store carries it)?

And if you have it with milk and/or sugar?

Great post, OP

I like Mariage Ferres (sp?). It's a French company. It's American Breakfast is very hearty. I also like its English Breakfast. I really like black tea. Not so much into herbal, green, red, white or the Asian varietals.

PG Tips, with a bit of cream/milk... Rarely with sugar.

I love Capital Teas. I go in and smell a lot of them and find one that speaks to me. Currently I'm drinking a cup of Mango Chili. It's fruity and spicy. The after notes leave a little kick.

Darjeeling. Goes well with afternoon tea

I like Harney's Earl Grey. Earl Grey, English Breakfast, and just regular black tea are all my favorites. EG is black tea blended with oil of bergamot. I love coffee too, but find it too stimulating in the evening. I'll have coffee in the morning, and a cup of tea around 7:30 or 8:00 in the evening for a little lift (but one that doesn't keep me up when it's time to go to sleep). I know green tea is better for you, but I like the taste of black better. And I'll have it with a splash of milk and some honey. Loose tea is good, but I find bagged tea fine. Just get a high quality brand. I don't really like herbal teas all that much.

Darjeeling. Earl Gray. Tazo Chai

Green tree makes me nauseous.

Black tea I drink with cream & sugar (a rare treat). I drink decaf chai (black tea with spices) plain.

My favorite herbal tea is peppermint because it's a great dessert /digestif.

Constant Comment by Bigelow, full of spices but not as potent as chai.
