Murch will have three Pre-K classes next year.
With the sixth graders gone at the end of the 2009-2010 school year, Mann should have the capacity to expand its Pre-K program as well. Perhaps the Mann parents who will now have to pay for an extra year of private school will make up some (or the lion's share) of that expense by not having to pay for private nursery school for their four-year-olds. Does it cost DCPS more to educate a sixth grader or a Pre-K student? |
preK because they pay for a FT classroom aide
also, preK class size is limited (22?) and 6th is not. |
