| I don't know if any of you harpies has thought about this, but Guiliana had cancer. She had a mastectomy. There is a good chance that invasive cancer was found. If so, she did or is doing chemo. She looks like someone who has done this. I was diagnosed with the same cancer and was initially told, no chemo. Of course that changed. If she didn't, then there is a good chance that she is suffering some appearance anxiety because of her mastectomy. And just living, knowing that you had cancer can cause a ton of stress. And if she gained 25 lbs. all we would be hearing is how chunky she is getting. |

| ^^Poor thing had a lumpectomy and then was told there was more cancer so she had to have a double mastectomy. If you haven't had one, let me tell you it SUCKS. I imagine she has PTSD from this. I am sure when she got the pathology report back she got more wonderful news (chemo) That is why they ended up going with a surrogate. If she didn't have to do chemo they would have kept trying to get pregnant. |

I'm not sure why you're calling everyone on here a harpy, but read her diet rules at the link one PP posted. That has as much to do with her looking frail as her chemo did. |

She did not do or need to do chemo.
She was advised by her oncologist and fertility doctors That it would be dangerous to get pregnant in the next Five years, after her double mastectomy. Apparently, pregnancy hormones could kick Her out of remission. That is why they had to use a surrogate. |

I agree. I like them as a couple to be very honest. It's why I watch the show, although I agree it's gotten too scripted. But they seem to be a very sweet, very committed, very much in love couple and it's nice to see that kind of show over the other horse shit they put on television. |

| Agree with the PP (and I'm kind of a bitch) but I do think there are some storm clouds a brewin with the marriage. She is LA/celeb/fashion and he is Chicago/family. She will never be that SAHM that cooks sausages and watches football. I've watched a few episodes since season 1 and this divide has been apparent to me since then. |
