Valrhona...mmm. |
I have not read each post here - so my apologies if it was already proposed: Vida = means life
A girl I grew up had this name. I always thought how original but pretty. |
Venus? No one's mentioned that yet? |
This post reminds me of that author - Vendela Vida. Another girly V name! |
I have a friend from Russia named Venera - means "venus" in russian i think ![]() |
I have always loved the name Veruca (remember, from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory?). Yes, she was bratty, but I still love the name. Husband vetoed it, unfortunately.
My Cabbage Patch Kid's name was Vanya. |
Just FYI, veruca/verruca is another word for "wart." |
|
Vita (if you don't mind the Bloomsbury association) |
|
I have always loved Vivienne . . . of course, Angelina Jolie stole my thunder there. |
Viola, Verena, Vera, Valerie |
If you recall, that girl's full name was Veruca Salt. Hence, a band later called themselves that. |
I like OPs choice, Vella |
Why? I love girls' names with boy nicknames! If I needed a V name I would think about Veronica only because it would go to Ronnie - too cute! |
