Now you can start your rant and call me a birther even though I've said nothing that would support that. I'm sure you left wingers won't disappoint.

The contrast that is lost on you is the difference between the time it took Obama to release his birth certificate and the time it took all previous presidents.

I won't call you a birther. But, I will identify you as someone who holds our first black president to a higher standard than previous presidents.

Wow. What a douchebag comment. You imply I am racist. What if I my bias is against anything to do with the number 44? That is just as random as saying I am biased against the president because he is black. What if I biased against him because he is half caucasion?

I think President Obama is awful for about a dozen reasons. Not one of those reasons has anything to do with his race. You don't know me, you ass. Don't put that crap on me when you have no idea about who I am. I guess it is unreasonable to expect a discussion to stay on topic here. Its because you are totally unwilling to moderate these discussion threads to keep them on a topic.

LOL. Did your little feelings get hurt? Okay, you tell me why Obama, alone of US presidents, needed to release his birth certificate?

My feelings are not hurt. I am just calling you an asshole for implying I am racist. There is a difference.

I didn't call you a racist. I pointed out that you have a different standard for our first black President than you do for all other presidents. It's not my fault that you can't think of any other reason beyond race and the number 44 for causing that different standard. But, calling me names and playing the victim is a good way of avoiding addressing the topic.

Obama is different from every other US President since at least Arthur in that he had a non-US citizen for a parent.

I did not say you called me a racist, so don't put words in my mouth. You implied I was a racist. That is what I said. Please try to disagree with me based upon what I actually wrote, not how you characterize what I wrote.

If you disagree that was your implication, then why'd you mention the president's race? Of course that is what you were implying. I'm not a victim. I'm just a guy calling you an asshole. I am quite certain you are.

On the topic of Cruz, I already said I was not a supporter of his. I don't care if he runs for office or not. I don't care if he is a citizen or not. I do laugh at how it is lost on you guys that he has handled the situation in the polar opposite of Obama (immediately revealing all the relevant data).

This is such a stupid debate. It is distracting from the important things like the Republican War on Women (Filner, Weiner and Spitzer) and our clear contempt for immigrants, secretly both the illegals and the legals of course.

Once again, Obama handed over his birth certificate in 2008. Birthers refused to accept it. Same type as Cruz handed over just recently.

As the moderator. I expect you to set the proper pattern of behavior. Is this what you encourage? Is this the type of man you aspire to be?

No. I don't think so.

7 and 11 though, definitely.

That's got nothing to do with the birther argument, which was that a person is not a natural-born citizen if he is born on foreign soil to a US citizen. The attacks on the legitimacy of the Obama presidency were not predicated on the belief that he was a Kenyan citizen, they were predicated on the (mistaken) belief that he was born in Kenya.

(Actually, they were predicated on the belief that he was a black socialist Muslim who spend a lot of time in a Christian church where his pastor indoctrinated him with anti-American views. But he's Muslim. But I digress.)

Note that I believe "natural-born citizen" means a citizen from birth, which makes Cruz eligible to be president. But is sure is fun watching the wingnuts squirm.

Actually, the problems were caused by Obama's own behavior - and they continue.

Believe it or not, conservatives are much more concerned with his affiliation with Wright than any time he spent in a Muslim country. Conservatives issues with Obama/Muslim is how naive he is in dealing with the significant issues. It's like Carter redux in so many ways.

Examples of naivety?

Believing in the Muslim Brotherhood
Not calling terror, terror.
Wanting to close GITMO

Yes, Ted Cruz is running. In 3 years. It's ridiculous that we're even talking about this.

You're wrong about that. The problem the right has with Obama is his haughtiness, which causes him no end of problems.

Exactly. That black man don't know his place.

Where did I mention race? Conservatives find him thin-skilled, vain, and terribly snotty.

Really after being called a doucheag you make this about "the type if man you aspire to be"???

That's funny in an overwrought kind of way.

Cubans make the best conservatives because Republicans hate communists more than latinos. And because they have automatic immigration rights, unlike everyone else.

Republicans know that a Cuban who fled the horror of the Castro regime probably won't have much good to say about communism.

Even if this is true, who cares? These are personality traits that may or may not affect whether or not you have a personal relationship with someone. It has no bearing on his policies or conduct as POTUS. Plus, hpw do you know if he is vain, snotty or thin-skinned. I would predict that he is vain since he is a politician, but unless you personally know the man I doubt if you have evidence of his " snotty" or "thin-skinned" behavior. George W. Bush seemed to be a fine fellow ( although I don;t really know), but he was a terrible POTUS. Maybe you should grow up a bit.
